The Tampa region offers incredible opportunities for cyclists of all ages and abilities. Whether you are an experienced road racer or elite mountain biker rider, commuter, or just like to putt around on a local trail, the region can offer it all. There are hundreds of miles of urban, beaches, mountain park and state park trails in the region. Hillsborough County alone has well over 100 miles of relatively easy MTB trails in several designated trail systems including Alafia & Balm Boyette.

If it can be done, do it.
If it can’t, think of a way it can!
As a cyclist recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I try to ride my XC or Fat Bike every weekend and get away at least once a month to somewhere epic. I ride my road or cross bike 3-4 times a week on the local roads and Greenways. I have a small bike shop in Riverview, FL where I try to help other cyclists learn about wrenching on their own bikes through free private/public workshops. My Life on Two Wheels is my cycling blog where you’ll find ALL kinds information about rides, products and DIY Tips & Tricks.
